Jessica Nixon is the principal and president of the company, which she founded in 1994. Together with the other designers on her staff, she works directly with clients to plan and implement their design plans.
Jessica is a registered American Society of Interior Designers member (ASID #8557) and has earned the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ #11532) certification. Jessica graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design.

Kimberly V. Briggs
Kimberly has over 10 years experience working in the Austin builder market. She has worked with numerous local custom builders in addition to several distinguished National Builders. Having worked the majority of her career with builders allows her to be very adaptive in blending buyer’s desires with the guidelines of the builders.
Kimberly is well versed in the daily procedures of a design firm. Her areas of expertise include custom model home selection, merchandising, contracts/ budgets, and design center management. She also acts as the company bookkeeper.
Kimberly graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a major in Interior Design and a minor in Horticulture. In 2016, she received a Home Buyer’s Choice Award for her Design Selection Experience.
Brooke Hilsabeck is a project designer at Jessica Nixon Interior Design (JNID). She works directly with clients to achieve a unique design that meets their needs and personal tastes. Prior to working at JNID, Brooke was a project designer for a small boutique interior design firm in Chicago that specializes in custom residential projects. Her responsibilities included spatial planning and managing projects. She also worked as an Illustrator and AutoCAD technician at a well-regarded architecture firm in Austin, Texas that specializes in custom residential and multi-family projects. Along with her background in architecture and interior design, she has also managed several home renovations.
Originally from Austin, Texas, Brooke graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor in Arts and Sciences with a concentration in Interior Design. She is currently working towards getting her NCIDQ certification. In her free time, Brooke enjoys painting, sailing and cooking.
